CONCRETE CURE
The use of Hydronic heat for ground thawing and cold weather concreting was introduced only recently. Dating back to the early 19th century methods of thawing were accomplished with the use of steam, diesel soaked corncob or coal lit fires were also an accepted method to thaw the ground. Concrete warming/curing methods today mainly utilize Hydronic heat systems. Prior, the standard practice of cold weather concrete warming/curing was to enclose the pour area and use LP direct fired heaters. This proved to be less reliable and economical.
MAXCURE has now raised the bar by being the first and only Hydronic heat system designed for cold weather concreting warming/curing.
